Run time: 17:50

Waking up on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, a number in black scribbled on his
hand. Cain, a young and unstable man stumbles to his feet and takes in his surroundings. Open fields guide the long road ahead, wind blows around him, and somewhere off in the distance he spots a small brick house.

Just beyond the front door stands a small child, a little girl wearing an oversized medical mask; she looks sick, she invites him in.  A downward spiral immerses Cain into a world much bigger than he, a form of purgatory where yesterday is the only future. No one here will speak to him; no one here even acknowledges his presence. As Cain continues to explore the depths of this world, he becomes increasingly more compelled to find the answers to his questions; to find help. A strange turn of events unfolds as Cain reaches his breaking point. His only hope settles in the hands of Sophia after an unexpected phone call brings her to his doorstep. Only to find out that their conversation might have never happened in the first place…
